In this session, we explore the journey of Okanagan Regional Library (ORL) and University of British Columbia, Okanagan (UBCO) in enhancing accessibility with support from a Community-University Engagement Support (CUES) Funt grant, guided by the newly released BC accessibility standards and the BC Accessibility Act.   This collaborative effort combines academic insights with practical library experiences that have resulted in an Open Source Action Plan for other libraries to use and adapt.  Attendees will learn how: (1) to assess their organization’s current state of accessibility; (2) the strategies employed to meet the standards; and (3) the ongoing processes to ensure ORL and other libraries remain inclusive and accessible to all community members.
