This training session provides an introduction to the Moe the Mouse Program, created by Indigenous speech therapists as a culturally-aware early literacy and learning tool. The program uses animals found in BC environments, and can be adapted to local indigenous languages. Children's Librarian's and other library staff who work with young children and families will learn how to access, use, and adapt Moe the Mouse to their programs.
