About me
My name is Joanne Saunders. I'm in the new role of Regional Lead for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in Western Canada. I currently live outside of New Hazelton on Gitxsan Territory. Before this position I spent many years as a Literacy Outreach Coordinator and spearheading Early Years initiatives. I started our Imagination Library program in the Upper Skeena and was the Local Program Partner. In my spare time I like to walk my dog in the forest and I also enjoy attending community events.
