About me
Jessica Davey is a dedicated advocate for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community with deep roots in Prince George. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UNBC and has been actively involved in queer activism and community building for many years. Jessica was the first treasurer of the Northern Pride Centre at UNBC, where she also worked as a peer counsellor, trained volunteers, and helped organize 2SLGBTQIA+ educational workshops for the university and local businesses. She has volunteered with Prince George Pride and Queer Café, later becoming the Board Chair of the Northern BC Queer Connection Society. Last year, Jessica took on the role of Project Manager for the Queer History Project, leading efforts to document and share the rich and diverse history of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Northern BC.
